This stage is used by WorldGroup's designers to create a blueprint of the application together with the client's business professionals. This is done through a series of workshops during which the business is designed using object-oriented analysis techniques.
This stage is used to walkthrough with the key project users the detailed user requirements of the application in order to: Define detailed business and processing rules.Identify user interfaces and application interfaces.Identify the types of reports required.Identify data requirements for the entire system. This is characterised by a series of user workshops, also referred to as Joint Application Design (JAD), during which all screens, queries, reports and business rules are designed in details.
In this stage, the application framework, physical database, and all reusable components necessary to implement the application outlined in the External Design, are defined. This phase is then followed by the actual development and deployment of the application.
This stage is to develop the application components, reports and all related interfaces components needed to complete the entire application. Throughout the development, Unit Testing is conducted for each of the completed components as a prelude to a full scale System Testing.
This stage is to ensure all components of the application are integrated and operate according to the stated requirements.
This stage is where the users test the system according to requirements defined during the External Design stage. The Test Plan is produced prior to the commencement of the UAT, usually by key users of the application to create the scenarios and test conditions to thoroughly test the delivered system.
Training is provided to both business and administrative users of the application based on a customised training program.
A rollout plan is prepared prior to system rollout which includes the rollout approach, activities and the schedule. WorldGroup normally manages the system rollout activities with assistance from users, both technical as well as business personnel to ensure successful implementation of the application.
Maintenance support for applications which have been implemented are offered to ensure that they continue to support the business of our customers.
