Our Approach
Application Blueprint
This stage is used by WorldGroup's designers to create a blueprint of the application together with the client's business professionals. This is done through a series of workshops during which the business is designed using object-oriented analysis techniques.
External Design
This stage is used to walkthrough with the key project users the detailed user requirements of the application in order to: Define detailed business and processing rules. Identify user interfaces and application interfaces. Identify the types of reports required. Identify data requirements for the entire system. This is characterised by a series of user workshops, also referred to as Joint Application Design (JAD), during which all screens, queries, reports and business rules are designed in details.
Internal Design
In this stage, the application framework, physical database, and all reusable components necessary to implement the application outlined in the External Design, are defined. This phase is then followed by the actual development and deployment of the application.
Development & Unit Testing
This stage is to develop the application components, reports and all related interfaces components needed to complete the entire application. Throughout the development, Unit Testing is conducted for each of the completed components as a prelude to a full scale System Testing.
